In specific, the Article states that, “following the 2016 ICAO Assembly, the Commission shall file to the European Parliament and to the Council on movements to enforce an international settlement on a world market-based measure from 2020, that can reduce greenhouse fuel emissions from aviation in a non-discriminatory method”. As this provision additionally states, in its file, the Commission shall “imagine, and, if suitable, come with proposals in response to, the ones tendencies on the suitable scope for protection of emissions from task to and from aerodromes positioned in international locations out of doors the EEA from 1 January 2017 onwards”.
