How long will commercial unrefrigerated shelf salsa last once opened and kept in the refrigerator? : AskCulinary

I purchased it in September however the expiration date is unreadable and it is taco evening! It’s a commercialization emblem in a jar that sits unrefrigerated on shelf. I opened it about identical time I purchased it in September, so about four months outdated. Smells effective, however undecided nonetheless. Thank you in advance!
